Next Year's Challenge is January 22, 2005!!

Despite cold temperatures hovering around zero degrees, the 1st Annual Bill Johnson Vertical Challenge for Brain Injury Awareness was a great success! 98 people participated on 24 teams and everyone had a great day of skiing and riding. Teams raised over $20,000 to support the Resource Facilitation and Outreach Programs.

The team from Abramson, Brown and Dugan discovered a strategy early in the day and managed to rack up 151,200 vertical feet, making them the winner of the Most Vertical Prize, which was donated by Stan and Dan Sports. Team Marc, led by Marc Cummings, raised the most money and won a prize donated by Devine, Millimet and Branch. The randomly drawn grand prize, Threedom Passes, donated by Cranmore Mountain Resort, went to an ecstatic Lakeview  Downhill Dames team.
All participants had a great time skiing with friends, meeting Bill Johnson, checking out Bill’s medal and enjoying some great food. All this fun and raising money for a great cause, too!  Raffle prizes included an Atomic ‘Red Sled’ signed by Bill, and a signed Trot Nixon baseball from the Red Sox.  Team photos are available on this website, as well as photos of the day.  See what you missed and make it a point to come next year!
